Calibrations are carried out using observatory working standards (for each gas, two working standards with CH4, CO2 and CO mixing ratios representing upper and lower ranges of the expected ambient variability were used) to evaluate possible drifts and the stability of calibration factors. The latest calibration at CUR was performed in January 2018. The offset for CO was (S=1.0278 and I=0.00005), where: S= Slope and I= Intercept |

The raw data from the instrument is collected by the data acquisition system. Invalid data caused by instrumental malfunction are checked with information from the station logbook. The data are also manually inspected and examined using quality control routines before being accepted as valid measurements. |

[Hourly] Hourly data are generated by arithmetic means from the per-minute data without including invalid data. If the number of valid data within an hour is less than 30, the hourly mean value is flagged as "1". If more than 30 data are available, the arithmetic means value is flagged as "0". CO observations are performed with a commercially available instrument (Picarro G2401) based on the near-infrared Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS) technology that is capable of measuring CO2, CO, CH4 and water vapor down to parts-per-billion (ppb) sensitivity with negligible drift for months of continuous high quality data collection. | |
