The relationship between MRI_87 scale and WMO mole fraction scale is given by : WMO = 5.451 + 0.9741 × (MRI_87) + 2.7699 × 10-5 × (MRI_87)2. This equation is only tentative, and may be changed considerably in the future. CO2 in natural air prepared by Nippon Sanso Co. Ltd. |

04/86- : Air samples are collected continuously through an air intake at 1.5 m above the ground. 02/92- : Air samples are collected continuously through an air intake installed on the meteorological tower at 200 m above the ground with a copper tube which is coated on the outside by polyvinyl chloride serving as the sample line. 04/96- : Air samples are collected continuously through an air intake installed on the meteorological tower at 25 m above the ground with a copper tube which is coated on the outside by polyvinyl chloride serving as the sample line. To deduce local/regional sources and sinks. This dataset was submitted to WDCGG by Hisayuki Yoshikawa Inoue on 2000/11/6. Dr. Inoue moved to Hokkaido University from Meteorological Research Institute in 2002. |
