Working standard gases are calibrated yearly against the secondary standard. The working gases and four CO2-in-synthetic air standard gases were initially calibrated at SIO in 1981. Five WMO 1987X scale standard gases (CO2-in-air) provided by AES are used as the secondary standard from 1991. Latest calibration of these standard gases against primary WMO standard was carried out in 1991. During flask mesasurement procedure, the analyzer is calibrated hourly with 3 working gases. |

| The reported data are the mean of the CO2 concentrations measured in two simultaneously sampled flask, if the difference between them is less or equal to 1 ppm. Otherwise, the lower of the two measured values is taken as a daily value if it does not differ from the smoothed concentration curve for more than 2 standard deviations. Technically invalid data are excluded. | |
