ECD is calibrated with one point standard. Every, 5 am, 11 am, 17 pm, 23 pm, the standard gas is injected into the instrumnets. We calibrate the instruments every week regularly but when the instrument showed the malfunction we do it again. And also we use the standard gases as target tank. We track the drift of STD area/amount from GC and according to the drift data is fixed. The performance of linearity is not adequate to detect all range, now. Therefore we used one-point calibration to focus only on the baseline level. |

Sampling Environment : The sampling site is located between Korea and China. Ihe location is on the hill at distance of about 500 m from the west open sea(Yellow sea), and at an elevation around 46 m asl. Along the shore line in north-south direction not much activities in winter time, however, in summer recreational activities such as swimming with some small restaurants. The vegetation around the station are mixed forest with mostly pine. Agricultural activities nearby include rice and sweet potato cultivation. For preparing the agricultural land, agricultural waste burning is conducted mainly in spring and autumn. The blank period is from instrumental malfunction with unknown reasons. KMA/NIMS cannot assure the data from the period that it was discarded from WDCGG. However, KMA has and keep its raw data in the database. When we find out the reason cleary, it will be recovered.
