Three calibration gas cylinders prepared at the WMO/GAW Central Calibration Laboratory in NOAA/ESRL, Boulder, CO, were measured automatically every 50 hours. In addition one target gas from MGO Voeikovo, St Petersburg was measured every 17 hours. 2013-07-07 00:00:00 - 9999-12-31 23:59:59, we used a target gas cylinder, which was calibrated against a set of CCL cylinders in FMI. 2017-05-31 00:00:00 - 9999-12-31 23:59:59 we used three calibration gases and a target gas, which were prepared at FMI and calibrated against a set of CCL cylinders in FMI.
The raw data is calculated to one minute averages, and these averages are calculated to mixing ratios using linear equation based on automatic calibrations. Data is checked manually for values which don’t represent conditions when the measurement system is technically functioning well and flagged accordingly. Quality assurance procedures involve time series plots, target tank (cylinder containing natural air that is treated as unknown sample in a sequence of analyses) measurements, and comparison between the NOAA and MGO weekly flask samples (terminated 2018) and in-situ data.
[Hourly] Valid 1min averages are calculated to hourly values. Thus, ND (the number of detections) refers to the number of available 1min averages within the respective hour.
[Daily] Hourly averages are aggregated to daily means. Thus, ND (the number of detections) refers to the number of available hourly averages within the respective day.
[Monthly] Daily data are aggregated to monthly means. Thus, ND (the number of detections) refers to the number of available daily averages within the respective month.
Hourly data is flagged based on wind speed because there is a risk that ambient air concentrations are influenced by local wetland emissions when wind speed is low.

Flags: 1 - Valid
2 – Valid, wind speed lower than 3 m/s
3 - Missing value (or rejected due to system problems)
 Valid: 2
 Invalid: 3
 Valid (background): 1
 Operational/Reporting
Sample air is drawn by Metal-Bellows MB-158E pump via 13 meter ¼” Teflon tube. Outdoor 9m section is heated. In 2010-09-01 00:00:00 - 2013-07-04 01:26:59sample air to the OA-ICOS analyzer was dried by a Nafion dryer. In the May-September periods, M&C cryo dryer (dew point -28C) was used upstream the Nafion drier. 2013-07-07 00:00:00 - 9999-12-31 23:59:59, we used CRDS measuring wet, without drying. Water vapor coefficients were measured in FMI before shipping.

Meteorological data may remain as first provided, even when greenhouse gas data are updated.
Meteo data are 1 hour averages. Time stamp is the beginning of the 1 hour period. Anemometer height 10m. Data is from the same point as gas measurements except when this data is missing, we used data by Tiksi synop station at 1.5km distance.
