 The Picarro is calibrated with seven NOAA WMO X2007 primary gas standard, to reach the 5 minutes average standard deviation treshold, each for up to 15 minutes, by two cycle of measure.
 The only selection applied refers to the consistency of values of pairs: if difference is more than 0.5 ppmv, the values are rejected.

 [Daily] The reported values are the arithmetic mean of each pair.
 [Monthly] The average data from 1992 to 2007 were calculated by WDCGG.
 
 Operational/Reporting
 Air samples are taken every Friday with two pairs of glass flasks through a chemical water vapor trap, and pressurized at 280-300 kPa.
CO2 concentration is determined at the Laboratory in Lampedusa (ENEA).
Instrument type is CRDS analyzer Picarro G2401. Water vapor is removed by a cold trap (-65 °C) in the measuring phase.
The range is set to 356-406 ppm, the resolution is +/- 0.01 ppm
