Take the arithmetic mean of every minute data for 1 hour, and adopt the mean value with s.d.< 0.5 ppm as hourly data.
Data when wind is <10 kts in the sector 270-300 deg is discarded.
[Hourly] take the aritmetic mean of the values except values that are discarded for technical reason or due to wind direction/speed selection criteria

The site is a marine type environment in a bay (Potter bay) surrounded mostly by permanent glaciers which end directly into the sea . People overwintering in the main island (King George island ) on the whole is in the order of 180 person , 250-300 during the summer . King George island is seat of many stations of different nations , probably the most densely inhabitated antarctic site. Nevertheless the station can be defined very remote and away of anthropogenic influences and vegetated areas . The strong wind regime typical of Drake passage affects severely the area , calms of wind are in the order of a few percent of the cases. Although the site is only ~1000 km apart from Cape Horn and the forested areas of Tierra del Fuego it only shows a slight influence of the South American continent on the atmospheric CO2 either anthropic type or vegetation cycle type

Description of Instruments: linearity is checked in the range of measurements (span 25-30 ppm)
NDIR analyzer, Ultramat 5E Siemens, is used.
sampling intake: 10 m above the ground. Tubing: Dekabon 10 mm ,lenght 50 m, flow rate approx 250 cc per min, dehumidification by a freezing trap -70 °C,
