 Calibration gases used: CH4 in purified natural air, every hour
 A linear regression line is hourly determined from measuring a set of 3 working standard gases with different concentrations. The working standard gases are made as natural air base. The mole fraction of CH4 in the air is determined using this linear equation.
Erroneous data are identified by means of visual inspection and are reported with flag 3.

 Operational/Reporting
 The measurements for air and surface sea water are carried out. The height of intake for air sample is 8 meters above sea surface. The depth of the intake for sea water sample is about 4 meters below sea surface. The tubing for air sample is made of fluorinated ethylene - perfluoroalkoxyethylene copolymer (PFA). The inner diameter, outer diameter of the tubing are 19/64 inches and 3/8 inches, respectively. The length of the tubing is approximately 40 meters. The sea water is introduced into the equilibrator. Both introduced ambient air and equilibrated air are dried using electronic cooling unit, perma pure dryer and chemical desiccant (Mg(ClO4)2).
