Air samples are collected continuously through an air intake at 10 m above the ground. Concentration of CO2 is measured by a Siemens Ultramat 3 non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) analyzer. The air/standard gases to be analyzed is/are saturated by water vapor at the room temperature and cooled to 4°C. In this way the water content of the gas to be analyzed is stable and its influence on the measurement can be compensated.
Detection range 1981-1983 ; 304.5 - 404.5 ppm
1984-1999 ; 304.5 - approx. 460 ppm
